Take the two ships MS Vindobona and MS Wien through Vienna. The MS Vindobona was lovingly designed by the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser and with its distinctive colour scheme is now one of the sights of the city itself. The MS Vienna is a city ship of the extra class. Let the Viennese scenery pass by during the Great Danube Tour and enjoy the "green Vienna" (Route A) and the "modern Vienna" (Route B). Route A
Departure Vienna/Schwedenplatz

The tour starts at the boat station Vienna / City at Schwedenplatz and leads past the observatory Urania, through the "green Vienna" with the forests of the Prater. After the lock Freudenau (approx. 20 minutes stay) the ship moors if necessary at the station Marina Vienna. Along the Danube island, past a granary converted into a hotel and the stadium to the Reichsbrücke station.

Continuation to Schwedenplatz with route B possible.

Route B
Departure Vienna/Reichsbrücke

Starting at the station Reichsbrücke or Marina Wien we show you the "modern Vienna" with the skyline of the Donauplatte, the Donauturm and the Millennium Tower. Via the lock Nussdorf (about 20 minutes stay) we reach the Danube Canal, where you can experience the "historical Vienna" and interesting architecture: Hundertwasser district heating station Spittelau, Roßauer Kaserne, Ringturm, Urania observatory, and much more. The tour ends in the centre of Vienna at the Schwedenplatz station.

Boat trip on the Danube Canal

You travel on the Danube Canal in a loop starting at the boat station Wien / City am Schwedenplatz. On this tour you will see important buildings: Uniqa Tower, Urania Observatory, Badeschiff, Jean Nouvel's hotel and business building, Otto Wagner's Schützenhaus, Ringturm, Roßauer Kaserne, Zaha-Hadid-Haus and the Spittelau waste incineration plant designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

Evening cruise

In the evening twilight you sail starting at the boat station Wien / City am Schwedenplatz in a loop trip through the city centre on the Danube Canal and after the lock Nussdorf you sail on the big Danube into the sunset. Discover the modern and historic buildings as well as the hustle and bustle in the numerous restaurants on the banks.
