One of the most successful touring musicals in Europe with world star Deborah Sasson and Axel Olzinger in the main roles

The "The Phantom of the Opera" by the authors team Deborah Sasson and Jochen Sautter has been enthusiastically received by spectators and critics since more than 450 stages in Europe. This German-language musical new production, which was written for the centenary of the "Le Fantôme de l'Opéra", written by Gaston Leroux in 1910, is one of the most successful touring musical productions in Europe. The musical stands out from all previous musical interpretations of the literary material by keeping much closer to the novel and by incorporating well-known operatic quotations in much of the music that Sasson himself composed.
After the production of their "makers" was completely redesigned in 2016, they continued to work in this sense for 2017/18, perfecting the illusion even further. Thanks to interactive video animation, the viewer is even more immersed in the mystery on the stage. The actors seem to be fused with the projections, their movements trigger partial reactions of the projected images, and the transitions from one playground to the next will be even more fluid.
For the first time, spectacular interactive multimedia technology is used as an artistic component in a musical.
You will experience "The Phantom of the Opera" in an unprecedented way.
For the first time interactive video animations are used in a stage music in this way. The audience is immersed in the mysterious happenings on the stage. From Christina's wardrobe on the upper floors of the Paris Opera, the viewer is virtually torn into the depths, where the phantom in the substructure of the opera has furnished its apartments. In the chase through the cellar vault of the opera dripping from the walls, torches illuminate the mysterious corridors, dangerous shadows dance around the performers, the images move around them and create a three-dimensional depth. Dream and reality are condensed into an opaque and mysterious whole. As if he were one of the protagonists, the viewer is dragged into the story.

The original works were reproduced by the multimedia artist, Daniel Stryjecki, with the help of modern graphics technology. Exclusively moving pictures and videos form the background for stage events.
Even the stage lighting is partly replaced by video projections, in which shadows are projected around the actors in such a way that they simulate a light source, which actually does not exist. This gives the director entirely new creative possibilities. Daniel Stryjecki has developed this technique over the years and applies it to both contemporary dance and advertising galas from among others. Coca-Cola®, LOT-Polish Airlines®, Orange®, Allianz® and Abu Dhabi Ports.

The role of Christine is interpreted by the Boston singer and Echo Klassik prize-winner Deborah Sasson herself. Her multifaceted and powerful sopran voice is ideal for this mixture of opera and musical. The phantom is played by Axel Olzinger, In "Chicago" in the London Westend and in numerous roles with musical productions of the United Bühnen Wien successes. In addition, a large ensemble of outstanding performers from the German-speaking region is involved in the production. An 18-piece orchestra, compiled by the musical director, Piotr Oleksiak, plays the music live.
