Vienna can look forward to an unforgettable concert experience in 2026: Dutch star violinist André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra will return to the Wiener Stadthalle on 6 November 2026 as part of their world tour!

 

With over 40 million albums sold and more than 700,000 concertgoers annually, André Rieu is one of the most successful live musicians in the world. His spectacular tours regularly take him to the biggest stages around the globe. Over 22 million people follow the Maestro on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube; he has more than 2.1 million fans on Spotify.

 

“Vienna is like a second home to me. I love the city, the atmosphere, and of course the music of Johann Strauss, my favorite composer. My orchestra and I are very much looking forward to performing in Vienna again in 2026,” says André Rieu.

 

His current album Thank You Johann Strauss is a musical tribute to the great Viennese composer. With magnificent arrangements, lively waltzes, and touching melodies, Rieu celebrates the timeless beauty of music together with his Johann Strauss Orchestra.

 

The audience can look forward to a dazzling mix of romantic melodies, captivating rhythms, and emotional highlights – from beloved classics to lively waltzes.  Wiener Stadthalle is an indoor arena , located in the 15th district of Vienna, Austria . It was designed by Austrian architect Roland Rainer and built from 1953 to 1958 . The arena HAS to overall seating capacity of 16,000 people Approximately .

The arena Comprises 6 halls : A and B ( grammar school ), C (ice arena) , D ( main hall , mostly for concerts eg Metallica ), E ( for smaller events eg The Stehaufmandln ) & F ( for more intimate concerts eg Women's World Award). In 1974 , the additional Stadthallenbad , a public swimming pool , which built .
