How to get there?
The Minorite Church is located in the city centre. The easiest way to get there is by the subway line U3 until the station “Herrengasse” and take the exit “Minoritenplatz” which will lead you directly in front of the Minoriten Church.
Alternatively, one can take the Tram line D,1 or 71 to the station “Rathausplatz/Burgtheater”. From there the Minoriten Church is a few minutes walk behind the Burgtheater.

Wiener Klassikfestival in the Minorite Church
This summer festival features first-class classical music in the historic Minorite Church with the renowned Les Orpheistes Festival Orchestra and distinguished conductors and soloists.
From July 25 to August 16, 2025, the Vienna Classic Festival invites you to ten nights of high-level concerts at the Minorite Church in Vienna.
The resident orchestra, LES ORPHEISTES, will perform under the direction of Martin Sieghart, Mario Hossen, and Sophie Dervaux. Also joining is the Rudolf Leopold Cello Quartet as an outstanding guest ensemble.
The program features works by Mozart, Vivaldi, Brahms, Strauss, Schubert, and Haydn, as well as virtuosic gems by Paganini, Bottesini, and Koussevitzky. International soloists and the unique atmosphere make the festival a summer highlight in Vienna's music scene.

From Italian virtuosity to German depth, from the Viennese waltz to symphonic innovation, each concert reflects how Vienna has been a melting pot where musical currents meet and transform.

Minorites Church, related to the monastic order of the "minor" or Franciscan monks), formally called Italian National Church of Mary of the Snows (English: Italian National Church of Mary of the Snows), is a church built in French Gothic style in the old town or First District of Vienna, Austria.
