Lauren Spencer Smith channels her boundless emotions into touching songs. The 21-year-old, who has never shied away from expressing her extreme emotional world in her songs, is currently one of Canada's most up-and-coming pop stars with her unique voice and has long since achieved sensational status. Her multi-platinum song "Fingers Crossed" went viral on TikTok in 2022 and brought her international breakthrough, which she consolidated with her debut album "Mirror" (2023). The album now has over 1.2 billion streams on Spotify and celebrated two more hits: the platinum-certified track "Flowers" and the fan favorite "That Part," which Lauren Spencer Smith has already presented around the world on her 42-date The Mirror Tour. The press is also enthusiastic about her music: Billboard named her one of "21 under 21," while media outlets such as People Magazine, The Guardian and DORK celebrated her, and Stereogum called her "Gen Z's new favorite breakup balladeer." Her second album, "The Art of Being a Mess," will be released on June 27, 2025, and she will present it live on a European tour in early autumn. On THE ART OF BEING A MESS TOUR 2025, Lauren Spencer Smith will be visiting Hamburg, Berlin, Vienna, Munich, Zurich, and Oberhausen in September.

Lauren Spencer Smith was born in Portsmouth, England in 2003, but grew up in Port Alberni on Vancouver Island in Canada. Passionate about music from an early age, she says she was unable to attend concerts or join a musical theater due to the isolation. Instead, she produced YouTube cover videos and competed in American Idol, where she landed in the top 20. Despite her elimination from the show, she continued to work hard on her music and, as an independent artist, managed to go viral several times after the release of her debut EP, "Mixed Emotions." First, the single "Back to Friends," with its stripped-down singer-songwriter sound, reached several million views on TikTok in 2021, before "Fingers Crossed" became an even bigger viral success and catapulted her career to a new level in 2022 with a record deal with Island/Republic Records. Her debut album, "Mirror," was released in 2023 and peaked at number 49 on the Billboard 200 and number 11 in the UK. After three Christmas songs in 2023 and two singles in 2024, Lauren Spencer Smith began a new chapter in early 2025. The singles “Pray” and “IF KARMA DOESN'T GET YOU (I WILL)” point to the upcoming release of their second album “The Art of Being a Mess” and their musical development with a stadium-worthy pop sound and Spencer Smith's powerful voice.
