It's been 13 years since Moneybrother last brought his handcrafted soul-pop to German stages. Now he's returning to celebrate the anniversary of his successful album "To Die Alone" with German and Austrian audiences. The likeable Swede also brings his latest work, which follows on directly from his earlier albums.

Moneybrother, also known as Anders Wendin, made his German live debut in 2004 as support for the Beatsteaks. Fellow countrymen Pelle Almqvist (the Hives) and Dennis Lyxzén (Refused) also declared themselves fans of the charismatic frontman early on – the Swedish musician brings a vulnerable honesty with his soul-pop directly into the hearts of listeners. This feeling translates directly into his live performances: a raspy voice, a perfectly coordinated band, including a string and brass section. Anders Wendin masterfully combines several musical styles into a rousing and danceable mix, which in Germany so captivated Charlotte Roche, among others, that she even appeared on her former VIVA show wearing a Moneybrother shirt.

In September 2025, after a long hiatus, there will finally be a chance to listen to Moneybrother's unique, lovingly sung lyrics again. Embedded in the sound of his fantastic live band, this is something you won't want to miss!
