Night Verses, Headline Tour 2025

There have never been any boundaries in Night Verses' music. With influences from alternative metal, prog, mathcore, trip-hop, and shoegaze, the Los Angeles trio has long since let its post-hardcore roots blossom into multicolored blossoms. Amidst their virtuoso complexity, the band nevertheless reveals catchy melodies and musical structures on their current album, "Every Sound Has a Color in the Valley of Night," which make their music both sophisticated and accessible. After a European tour supporting Tool in 2024, Night Verses supported Animals As Leaders in spring 2025. They will return with a headline tour in September 2025, playing four German dates in Frankfurt am Main, Berlin, Munich, and Hamburg.
Night Verses was founded in Los Angeles in 2012 by singer Douglas Robinson, guitarist Nick DePirro, bassist Reilly Herrera, and drummer Aric Improta. Their debut EP, "Out of the Sky," was released that same year, followed by their debut album, "Lift Your Existence," in 2014. Night Verses quickly attracted attention with their idiosyncratic and sophisticated sound, and in 2015 they were signed by Equal Vision/Graphic Nature Records. Their second album, "Into the Vanishing Light," was released in 2016. In September 2017, Night Verses announced that they had parted ways with singer Douglas Robinson. What initially seemed like a turning point in the band's history spurred the trio on with their decision to continue without a singer. In January 2018, Night Verses released the EP "Copper Wasp," which showcased their new, entirely instrumental sound for the first time and served as a preview of their third album, "From the Gallery of Sleep." The album was released in 2018 and landed on numerous best-of-the-year lists. While Aric Improta became part of Fever 333 and, with his athletic performances, became one of the most talented drummers of his generation, things initially went quiet for Night Verses. However, the band made a definite comeback in July 2023 with the single "Arrival." Following the second single, "Karma Wheel," Night Verses released "Part 1" of their album "Every Sound Has a Color in the Valley of Night" in 2023, which was released in its entirety in 2024. The album includes a feature from Tool bassist Justin Chancellor ("Séance") and vocals from Incubus singer Brandon on "Glitching Prisms."
