PATER TENEBRARUM – MEAT GRINDER RELEASE SHOW
PATER TENEBRARUM (founded in 2019 in Vienna – previously active as "Sors Immanis") combine the merciless force of death metal, the raw aggression of thrash, and the majestic splendor of symphonic elements into a sound that is both devastating and captivating. Their music is a relentless assault that haunts the soul and crushes the spirit. With every note, they weave a dystopian web of despair and destruction. Their latest work, "Meat Grinder," skillfully combines classic, savage thrash and brutal death metal with relentlessly dark black metal. It's a journey through the nightmarish mind of a sick soul filled with despair, fear, and above all, hatred.
VOID CREATION have stood for the finest Viennese death metal since 2006. Their first album, "Mind Control," was enthusiastically received by audiences, including those at the 2010 Wacken Festival. Their second album, "Deadnology," released in 2015, was met with great acclaim and widespread recognition within the scene. After several lineup changes, the band began work on their new EP, "Inexorable," which they are currently presenting to audiences with powerful live performances. VOID CREATION has already supported many of our heroes, including Brujeria, God Dethroned, Krisiun, Mastic Scum, Misery Index, Nile, and many more. VOID CREATION have developed their own interpretation of old-school groove death metal and guarantee an unforgettable, neck-breaking set.
CATASTROFEAR come from Austria and play authentic death metal: hard, brutal, and merciless. Thundering drums, massive bass, monstrous vocals, and brutal guitars are their trademarks. The band first performed live on May 11, 2007, and has since accompanied major artists such as Vomitory, Entombed, Disbelief, Debauchery, and Dying Fetus. CATASTROFEAR has also rocked local festivals such as Kaltenbach Open Air, STP Metal Weekend, and Metal Outbreak, thrilling the crowds. With their three full-length albums, "Endless Error," "Sick," and "Centuries of Death," the band delivers raw, faithful, old-school death metal without compromise. The band is currently working on new material. Meanwhile, they're playing their way into the hearts of underground metal with their magnificent live performances.
BLACK COVEN (founded in Vienna in 2016) completed their current lineup in 2024. They deliver dark, melodic death and black metal with razor-sharp riffs and driving beats. Their latest EP, "Tomorrow I Die" (released in May 2025), marks a new era in the band's history: It is the first EP under the new lineup and dares to embark on a stylistic shift. Initially, the band primarily drew on elements of classic 90s melodic death metal. However, on the new EP, one hears and feels a distinct black metal influence, making the songs darker and more mysterious. Groovy riffs and dynamic tempo changes make for a thrilling listening experience.
WRATHCAST deliver melodic mid-tempo death metal. They combine powerful drums and straightforward riffs. Their lyrics are inspired by the art and literature of the Gothic era. Since their formation in 2022, the band has followed the motto "I no longer want to be anything except who I am," searching for the heart of their own inner darkness in their songs. Although the band hasn't released an album yet, they've already established themselves well in the local underground scene. On stage, the Viennese band demonstrates a love of detail, which is evident in their stage decor and outfits.
