The ultimate birthday party at Porgy & Bess
For our 20th anniversary, we're doing the obvious: We're celebrating. And we're doing it at Porgy & Bess - our musical powerhouse from the very beginning. For one evening, we are transforming the entire building into a walk-in installation: from the alleyway pub to the freight elevator to the main stage, every corner will be played - acoustically, visually, beautifully and beautifully.
We show highlights from two decades of Studio Dan - from Planet Globokar, How Is Your Bird?, ZONK!?!! to brand new pieces. You can look forward to music by Anthony Braxton, John Cage, Vinko Globokar, Michael Gordon, George Lewis, Veronika Mayer, Pauline Oliveros, Oxana Omelchuk, Julia Purgina, Steve Reich, Christof Ressi, Daniel and Leo Riegler, James Tenney, Anton von Webern, Clemens Wenger, Frank Zappa and many others, plus Dadaist party formats such as the spring onion tasting, solo concerts in the Lastenlift and massages with dissonance therapy.

PORGY and BESS Jazzclub
Porgy & Bess (actually, Jazz and Music Club Porgy & Bess ) is a jazz club in the Riemergasse 11 in the 1st district of Vienna. The club , founded in 1993 is considered " the most important jazz organizer and trendy meeting point " of the Austrian capital .
The program of Porgy & Bess speaks to a very large audience , about 70,000 guests a year ; is accordingly Jazz " understood very pluralistic ," and the program " even in fringe areas , such as electronic music , contemporary music and world music penetrated . " Many international artists , particularly from the U.S. space , see also Austrian musician here an opportunity to perform . The club also offers the stage for events, such as the award of the Austrian World Music Award.
