Germany's Pussycat Dolls, aka The Dead Crack Whores in the Trunk, aka The TCHIK (family-friendly version), are going on tour again. "What's there to celebrate?" you ask. EVERYTHING AND NOTHING - 19 years of friendship, a few new hits, and above all, a desire to tour.
Founded in Berlin in 2007, The TCHIK remained for many years more of a large, decidedly confusing electropop collective than a cohesive band. That didn't change until the mid-2010s, when the crack whores have been Lulu, Doreen, and Ilay. Before that, in 2010, their debut album "Jung, talentlos & gecastet" (Young, Talentless & Cast) was released by Universal, and the video for "Ich und mein Pony" (Me and My Pony) has garnered one and a half million views to date. The crack whores' appearance on Stefan Raab's "Bundesvision Song Contest" is also infamous. Further releases include "Mama, ich blute" (2013) and "Bitchlifecrisis" (2019), the latter of which also landed the band in the top 50 of the album charts for the first time. The band's fourth album, "Gefühle," was released in 2021.
In spring 2026, The TCHIK will finally be touring Germany and Austria again. Tickets for the 2026 Forever Tour are available now.
