Der Nino aus Wien & Guests
Alone and in Duet
Der Nino aus Wien, called the “Bob Dylan of Praterstern” by Falter, has been playing for nearly 17 years with his unchanged band—a very rare phenomenon in this country. For the beautiful Arena at Theater im Park, however, he will perform alone, preparing a very special evening. The setlist can include almost anything, from the 2000s classic Es geht immer ums Vollenden to completely new or entirely unknown songs. He will also invite special friends for duets.
Der Nino aus Wien, an Austrian singer-songwriter and writer, shapes the German-speaking music scene with his distinctive sound and his “Hirschstettner Soul.” He performs throughout the German-speaking region, from the Arena Vienna to the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. He has been nominated more than seven times for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award and won in 2016 in the category “Alternative Pop / Rock.”
Nino has achieved numerous chart placements, several number-one hits in the FM4 charts, writes music for theater, and co-curated the Wiener Popfest in 2018. He has been called “the best young singer-songwriter in the country” and the “Bob Dylan of Praterstern” by Falter. Nino and his music have become part of Vienna’s identity, and in 2025 he was even nominated by the press in the “Cultural Heritage” category.
