Purpendicular feat. Ian Paice celebrates its 20th Anniversary Tour (2007–2027), marking two decades as one of Europe’s most respected rock acts. Founded by Irish vocalist Robby Thomas Walsh, the band has evolved from its Deep Purple roots into a powerhouse of original music, completing four studio albums, with the previous release 'BANNED' (Metalville/Edel) spending 8 weeks in the USA Top 50 Metal/Rock charts.

A major career highlight came in 2019, when Purpendicular performed at the SWR Hits Parade at a sold out Schleyerhalle Stuttgart alongside Holly Johnson (Frankie goes to Hollywood) and Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), reaching millions of viewers across Germany. No longer just a tribute act, the band now stands as a creative force in its own right, featuring an all-star lineup of musicians who have shaped the rock and funk scenes, touring europe extensively since 2007. Over the years, the band has collaborated live and in the studio with rock legends including Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow), Roger Glover (Deep Purple), Tony Carey (Rainbow), Neil Murray (Whitesnake, Black Sabbath), Paul Morris (Rainbow), and Nick Fyffe (Jamiroquai), performing major festivals and events all over Europe.

At the core of the band is Ian Paice, the iconic Deep Purple drummer and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, bringing his unmistakable groove to Purpendicular’s dynamic sound.
