HANNES RINGLSTETTER & STEPHAN ZINNER
“Something to Do with the Kitchen”

Elvis Presley signed his first record contract at the kitchen table, Apple was founded in a kitchen, and every decent party sooner or later ends up there. To make matters even more fitting, Hannes Ringlstetter and Stephan Zinner love to eat, drink, and cook. Their fourth joint stage program therefore almost inevitably revolves around encounters at the stove, culinary disasters, and the big conversations that often happen in the kitchen. Sometimes biting, sometimes reflective, but always with a wink, they take the audience on a journey through the world of the everyday kitchen – where improvisation, laughter, and philosophy collide. They perform new songs, read from their current books Prachtexemplar (Zinner) and Ein Steinpilz für die Ewigkeit (Ringlstetter), as well as other texts.

Above all: there is still plenty of room for spontaneity and the unexpected. A program that whets the appetite for more and shows that life is often decided somewhere between the fridge and the stove. For their performances and easygoing style, Hannes and Stephan were awarded the Bavarian Cabaret Prize in the Music category in 2019.

A project with a future – and that’s exactly how it will continue.

Hannes Ringlstetter, born in 1970 in Munich, is a German cabaret artist, actor, musician, presenter, and author who grew up in Lower Bavaria. After studying German literature and history, he began his career in music with the group Schinderhannes. He became well known through his acting roles, for example in the series Hubert ohne Staller, and as the host of his late-night show on Bavarian Broadcasting (BR). He tours with his band throughout German-speaking countries and also performs solo programs.

Stephan Zinner, born in 1974, is an actor, author, musician, and cabaret artist. He has performed on the stages of the Landestheater Salzburg and the Kammerspiele in Munich, as well as for fifteen unforgettable years in the Singspiel at the Nockherberg as Markus Söder. From 2026, he will take over the Fastenrede at the Nockherberg.

Since 2016, Stephan Zinner has been part of the cast of the nationwide successful Eberhofer crime series based on the novels by Rita Falk. In addition, he appears in Munich’s Polizeiruf 110 and in the lead role in the BR six-part series Himmel Herrgott Sakrament.

Currently, Stephan Zinner is touring with his reading Prachtexemplar, his program Der Teufel, das Mädchen, der Blues und ich, and with his colleague Stefan Leohardsberger in Kaffee & Bier.
