Children’s Opera for Ages 3 and Up
Ensemble Oper@Tee
Nikolo is in Vienna! For the first time, a storm has blown him into the big city. There he meets many children who become part of his exciting adventure, during which they discover how he came to have his Krampus. And, of course, he has brought a very special gift for the city’s residents — but that is still a secret. Could there be something for the children in his big sack, too?
The close-up staging actively involves the young audience in the story. Values such as courage, friendship, and solidarity are conveyed in a playful way, making this delightful children’s opera not only entertaining but also highly educational.
A special venue opens its doors for this pre-Christmas production — the chapel of the crypt of St. Peter’s Church, which is normally not accessible to the public. The oldest stone of St. Peter’s Church is located there. At the same time, the famous nativity scene exhibition takes place in the crypt, through which visitors are guided to the chapel.
Seats are assigned on site. Every young guest is guaranteed an unobstructed view. Before the performance begins, there is an entertaining introduction to the work.
