Synopsis/Details

Panoramic Train Tour of Schönbrunn & Palace Tour with Audio Guide

An exclusive experience in Vienna: a tour of the palace grounds and a chance to explore Schönbrunn Palace

Experience a unique combination of a comfortable sightseeing tour and cultural discovery in the heart of Vienna. This offer from Vienna Sightseeing Tours combines a tour on the Schönbrunn Panoramic Tram through the palace gardens with a subsequent tour of Schönbrunn Palace, including an audio guide.

What to expect

The tour starts at Stop 1 of the Schönbrunn Panoramic Tram in the Kronprinzengarten.

First, you’ll enjoy a ride on the Panoramabahn through the extensive Schönbrunn Palace Gardens. During the ride, you’ll discover the most beautiful parts of the historic park and also travel to the Gloriette, one of the area’s most famous vantage points. You’ll then return to the starting point.

Afterwards, you’ll be escorted to Schönbrunn Palace and given your audio guide. With this, you will explore the palace’s magnificent rooms and learn more about the history of the Habsburgs and the significance of Schönbrunn Palace as a cultural landmark of Vienna.

The tour ends right at Schönbrunn Palace.

Why this excursion is well worth it

This combination of a leisurely tour of the park and a self-guided tour of the palace allows you to explore two of Vienna’s most famous sights in a short space of time. The Panoramabahn tour offers a comfortable way to discover the extensive palace grounds, the Gloriette and the view from Gloriette Hill, before you explore the palace’s historic rooms at your own pace with your audio guide.
